This project required them to produce thousands of square meters of decorative pavers. However, the local environment is challenging. For instance, the abrasive desert sand and extreme heat put immense stress on standard machinery. In addition, the pavers had to strictly comply with SASO 1246 standards for thickness and strength. We manufactured the entire mold layout out of premium-grade chromium-manganese alloy steel. The complete mold assembly was subjected to our proprietary computer-controlled carburizing heat treatment.
